As far back as I can remember my mom has created handmade goodies not only for us kids, but also our friends and teachers - or just to sale. Needless to say, growing up with a mom who's an avid crafter rubbed off on each of us girls and today we all have our area of "expertise". For mom it's crochet, sewing and tole painting. For my sisters it's sewing and needlepoint. For me it's papercrafting along with a dabble or two in sewing and plastic canvas.
My mom (Teddy) has entered her creations in the local county fair over the past couple years and has placed in every category entered.
I (Barbara) on the other hand, have had several of my cards published in the online paper crafting newsletter, Cricut Chirp, and have just had the pleasure of having one of my charger plates published in the November 2011 edition of Cricut Magazine....see page 43 for details.
Please note that our homes are either pet or smoker friendly; however, we take great strides to ensure that this does not affect our final product.
